Recycled Plastics Exchange (Marketplace)

The Recycled Plastics Exchange (Marketplace) is an e-commerce site operated by Hamee Corporation, primarily aimed at facilitating the trade of recycled plastic raw materials between companies. Through the "Recycled Plastics Marketplace," we aim to promote the effective utilization of recycled plastics and expand their diverse applications.
Although we will start with a limited number of products in late May 2024, we will gradually expand our offerings and improve our services based on customer feedback.

Background:
Hamee has been running a service called "ParallelPlastics" that repurposes unwanted plastic products into new ones to promote the effective use of plastics. Through the development of this service, we have identified the challenge of procuring recycled plastic materials.
Currently, the use of recycled plastic materials is increasing, especially among global companies. However, because information about the disposal and storage of plastic products—the raw materials—is not publicly available, it is difficult to find the desired material and color of recycled plastic when needed.
On the other hand, a large amount of plastic that could still be used is being burned as fuel simply because there is no viable method for effective utilization.
Hence, we have launched "Recycled Plastics Marketplace" to accelerate domestic plastic circulation by connecting companies that possess unwanted plastic products with manufacturing companies that need them.

Features:

- Free Listing:
Companies can list plastic scraps generated during the manufacturing process and plastic products that are lying dormant in warehouses for free.

- Option to Disclose or Conceal Company Name:
Companies can choose whether to disclose their name on the e-commerce site. However, disclosing the company name increases the chances of finalizing a deal.
Purchasing companies can buy the required amount of recycled plastic in the desired material and color.
* Only recycled materials can be listed. Virgin plastic materials cannot be listed.
